Vacation Week

This last week we went back to Madison for a week. It was great to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Anderson and great to have extra hands to help with the kids. The vacation wasn't as restful as some have been for two big reasons:
First, the kids both had pretty nasty colds...Dane got over his fast but then was dealing with teething pain. He's getting 4 canines and at least 1 second year molar so he'll just walk around with his fingers in his mouth going "oww...teeth...owww..." We feel bad for the little man. Aria also had quite the cold. If we'd been in town we probably would have had her see the pediatrician to get a prescription for antibiotics after the cold hit day #10, but it finally went away around day #13. She now seems to be back towards her normal self, eating as if we've never fed her before and sleeping through the night at least more nights than not.
Second, I had several interviews with some hospital clinics in Madison. I really hadn't expected to be interviewing for jobs yet, but after sending some emails I was told that 18 months early isn't too early. Nice to be in Family Medicine and know that my job is in demand. No decisions finalized yet, at least formally, so we'll say more about that when things get final. Suffice to say, we are excited to get back to Madison after graduating residency.

Anyway, here's some pix from the week home. We realized that, with being so busy and trying to catch up on some sleep, we didn't take many photos this week. Sorry! :)
