Photo update

Big girl, holding her own bottle.
My cuddler loves to hop in loads of laundry fresh out of the dryer.

First banana. Not impressed. Maybe needs more than 2 teeth.
It was a long day and Ari just couldn't make it through dinner, so she had to borrow Dane's favorite hangout for a quick snooze.
Aria loves Dane's elmo slippers. This is eventually going to lead to a kick in the face, I'm pretty sure.
Crayons and Ritz-bitz = a calm moment for mom.
First sippy cup try. Not a total fail, but definitely could use some more practice:)

Kahlers visit!

My dearest friend from middle school and high school, Sarah Kahler, brought her two lovely kiddos to IL for a much needed visit. We had so much fun, remembering our crazy days and sharing our lives as they exist now, four kids between the two of us! It was a wonderful week, with many laughs and lots of naps/whining/juice bottle mixups/diaper changing, etc, etc. Makes me glad that I have just two for myself at the moment:) Thanks, Sarah, for taking the time out to visit; seeing you is always a beautiful reminder of my old self and an encouragement that there will always be someone out there who forked lawns, learned how to spit and loved me in a way no one else does. Thank God for best friends!

Sarah is far left, with a Choraliers smile that matches mine:)
Henry, Olivia, Dane watching YouTube.
Pose!

Olivia loving on Ari. Oh what a different life we'd have if either child was the other sex!
Hanging out in our "kids pool". Um, it would hold like 8 adults. Not appropriate for our deck.
Dane insisted on wearing Ari's sunhat.
Henry, the sweetie-pie.
Beautiful Olivia, my god-daughter.
The Cheese.

I think Henry and Olivia had something going on.

Doctor visit

With Dad on call on Father's Day, we decided to make a little trip to La Grange Hospital and say hi to everyone's favorite diaper changing doctor. We had a lot of fun seeing Daddy's new office and generally exploring everything that could be used to break another thing. Which for Dane is everything. It was great to be with Mark even though he was working and we're looking forward to future Father's Days that don't involve work in any way!

Another photo shoot by Sophie

Our excellent sitter in Wheaton, Sophie Bushong, also happens to be quite handy with a camera, so every so often, we get the benefit of having our little ones as her models. Thanks, Sophie, for these fun candid shots of the kiddos hanging out, while mom and dad had some date time!

I feel like I can see myself in her face in this one. Mom and Dad, thoughts?
