Ari's 6 month photos

Our big (and we're talking percentile-wise) girl is 6 months old! She is continuing to measure in the 75-95th percentiles for weight(17lbs 6oz), height(28in) and head circumference(I don't remember this one). She's been working hard on sitting on her own, but is still gaining muscle sufficient to hold up the long torso and huge head:) She eats really well, easily transitioning to multiple solid feeds per day. Her favorites are pears and squash, and she hates peas, green beans, etc. She's beginning to be much more verbal, making tons of the "happy high-pitched noises" that the pediatrician asks about. She's started taking her first supported steps, which is good, and also likes pushing off our hands to scoot toward toys on the floor in front of her. She's started sleeping pretty consistently through the night, which is awesome. We're working on moving her earlier, so her sleep schedule coincides more closely with Dane's, and also trying Cry It Out, which we had a lot of success with on Dane. She's not responding yet, maybe just more due to her not learning about being alone like Dane did in the NICU. We'll keep trying for a while. She's bubbly and loves her Daddy and Mommy like she loves pears. It's such a joy to wake up to her chatting happily in her crib, and go in to a big beautiful smile, accompanied by kicking and flapping. We love our girl and are falling in love with her personality more each day!
