In between our vacation weeks, we have three weeks back home. While uneventful in the big sense, so many things are changing. Ari is growing like crazy and has learned to eat solids and is getting closer to sitting more every day. Dane is in love with her now, and is becoming more independent every day. His vocabulary is awesome, with 5 word sentences not uncommon now. He gives us a running commentary on what he's thinking which can be pretty funny. Here are some pictures and video from our last couple weeks of being home.
Bedtime. Both have their teething device of choice. Note to self: never time it so we have 2 teething kids at the same time again...
Ari is thinking that it's Dane's bedtime, so now she can carry out her plan to take over the house.
In awe of Daddy:) And vice versa.
Dane doesn't quite get the staying hidden part of hide and seek yet.
Morning smoothie on the rocking cow while watching Mickey. Life is good.
Cardboard packing parts from a new toy become more fun than the toy itself, when they become "ROBOT BOOTS!"
Three smiles at once, a rare occurrence!
Dane's bouncing bee!
On call nights, when it's just Ari and I, after Dane's down, we usually hang out on the couch and chew on unusual objects.
The little baller.
