First day home

Ari's first day home was pretty uneventful. She did a great job sleeping all day and nursed like a pro. We're still working on getting the routine down, but she's definitely a natural at eating! She woke up almost every hour the first night, but since then has only been waking 2-3 times between 9 and 9, which has felt pretty good for us. We even managed to go on a long walk yesterday to the library and then to Wheaton's campus for some ice cream. It felt great to get out and she again slept much better. Let's hope we're on a consistent upward swing! It's amazing to have Mark home and we also are super appreciative to our parents, who've traded Dane between them for this first week so we could get acclimated without his constant busyness. We're so excited to have him back tomorrow and to start introducing them more. We're truly blessed to have two beautiful little ones!
Check out the orange hair! Mark and I are minorities in our own family!
Hanging out with Daddy - check out the booties. So cute, but SO not functional as she kicks them off every two seconds!
