When you look at this picture, doesn't Dane look old enough to be going to school? We can't believe how big he is getting. He just turned 18 months and, while he isn't going to school yet (we wish he was, some days!), we just got him a kid leash and loves wearing it. It is a backpack/leash that looks like a monkey. When he wants to wear it, he points at it and says "ooh ooh ah ahh!" Larissa and I laugh because we remember looking at those kid leashes before we had kids and thinking how we would never do that and it was the weirdest idea.... now we look at it and wonder if they come in a stronger model, like something that would allow us to hook Dane up to a stake in the yard and just let him run around within his 10-foot circle until he got tired...or maybe one that would allow us to pick him up like a piece of luggage with him in the superman flying position.
