Ari's first year

Ari has finally turned one, and we are more and more thankful for her sweet personality and happy disposition every day. She has not started walking yet, but has been climbing everything, including stairs, both up and down. The first time she did it successfully, she gave herself a hand, one of her many new skills. She can feed herself with a fork, her favorite foods being strawberries and turkey, or whatever she can eat off our plates. She just seemed to hit her stride in terms of sleeping, thankfully. She wakes up every morning with a huge smile on her face, and adores Dane and her daddy. (Dad would like to mention that she also loves her mommy, and sometimes she is only able to be consoled with a little "mommy-time.") She and Dane have a frequently changing relationship, becoming closer every day. They have recently started wrestling, and sometimes now, she even enjoys it:) We struggle to get her to sit still long enough to read, but she loves flap books, as she can actively participate. She loves to dance, bluegrass being her favorite.
