We did it. Three kids three and under to visit Santa in the Mall. When we got there, the line was already 30 people long, and for some reason, Santa was on a "break". So, the older kids and I walked up and down looking at the Gingerbread House decoration contest entries, while Dad held down the fort in line with Knoxy. Finally, we made it to the front of the line and rehearsed, yet again, what the kids wanted to ask Santa for. Nothing extravagant from either one: a dinosaur for Dane and a pony and a princess for Ari. As you will see from the pics, Santa (who had a runny nose he (theoretically) couldn't feel because it was running down over his mustache) turned out to be a little more scary than Ari could handle. Knox and Dane did great, and I'm sure we'll laugh about the pictures someday...like today:)
Waiting in line.
Oh no.
Dane's just chatting. I love how he just slung his arm over this random stranger's shoulders:) No fear from that one.
Try #2 with Knox this time. No dice.
And she continued on until she was as close to mom as possible:)
