Dane's Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Dane recently had his first field trip for preschool, to Shuster's Farm in Cambridge. Gail watched the other two so I was able to accompany him on the trip. We had SO much fun! We started out with a trip through the corn maze, then watched pig races, did a hay ride, picked pumpkins and watched a pumpkin shot out of a cannon over a 1/4 mile! It was a great day, if a little cold. Fun to see the wonder on Dane's face, and hear all of his questions about the animals and farm itself. We had a wonderful time and will definitely have to head out there again in the future!

I almost had to hold him back while listening to the instructions because he was so excited!
 With his teacher, Mr. Brian.

 Whoa, a green pumpkin!

Watching the pumpkin fly 1/4 mile!
 The awesome pumpkin cannon.
With his other teacher, Ms. Ashlee.

His own perfectly round pumpkin..."It look like a basketball!"

  1. I can't believe you had time to post so much in October - I am loving it! Just had time to catch up, but I've read them all, I promise. Looks like Dane is liking school...how is he big enough for preschool? That does NOT seem possible!
