A Quick Trip

We recently had the pleasure of a trip back to Madison for a weekend, to visit, to play and to meet Mark's new coworkers. Mark's folks took the kids to the lake for the weekend, so Mark and I had some freetime like we haven't had in a LONG time. It was a refreshing weekend, and fun was had by all. We went to a reception and got to meet the folks who Mark'll be working with next year. We did a mud run with one of my best friends, Katy. And we slept. Much more than we have in years. It was a beautiful thing!

 Post race, not so clean any more!

 I was covered in mud because some jerk hit me with a tidal wave of it in the last obstacle. Who was that guy? Oh, it was Mark:)

We got to visit Grandma Karin and the kids trick or treated around Oakwood.
