Morton Arboretum!

We had a great day hanging out at Morton Arboretum recently. For those of you who aren't familiar with it, they have an amazing arb for everyone, plus an awesome, very large park for kiddos. We had a great time, and Dane was so sad to leave. Thankfully, we have another couple passes we purchased on Groupon, so we'll be back later in the summer. Maybe when it actually feels like summer!

 Welcome to the kids' garden!
"Guys!"
How does a tree count? One, two, tree, four, five, sticks! ha ha

 Action shot

Trying to figure out the lock on the gate, since he's figured out every lock/childproofing thing in our house.
Dane LOVED looking at the tadpoles. "little froggies!"

Getting soaked in the secret garden grotto.
 Splish splash

So cool to roll one rock off the other, and watch it splash!

 Takin' a break.
 Dad and Ari, the mountaineers!

Dane gave this smile after asking Daddy where Mommy was and realizing I was right behind him:)
The photo to scare the heck out of Mark's dad.
 Whoa!
 Ha ha, just kidding.
 And dismount.

Dane's first solo trip across a plank bridge.

Dane making his shadow dance along with the windmill's shadow.
Adieu!
